2018

  • Successfully secured a loan of HK$1,409 million from 7 international banks and financial institutions
  • Acquired 41% equity interest in Johnson, and also acquired 100% equity interest in Dongguan Lujia, which indirectly holds 35% of the right of the first fly ash landfill project in Dongguan city, with the aim to expand along the value chain to new upstream cleaning and waste management and downstream fly ash processing services
  • Acquired 100% equity interest in Open Mind Global Limited, which indirectly holds 40% equity interest in Huizhou City Zhongzhou Environmental Resources Company (principally engaged in the treatment of bottom ash created from the incineration of waste in the PRC) to secure our downstream channel for processing bottom ash

2017

  • Introduced Shanghai Industrial Holdings Limited (stock code:363.HK) as a strategic investor, by issuing 300,000,000 new shares at the price of HK$3.5 per share
  • Awarded Xinyi project
  • IFC exercised its conversion right and became shareholder of Canvest
  • Award Dianbai project
  • Partnered with Guangdong Utrust and BOC & UTRUST to establish an investment fund with a total fund size of Rmb1,501m for investment in potential waste-to-energy projects

2016

  • Signed Management Contract of Zhongshan WTE plant
  • Included in Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect
  • China Scivest received approval to expand the daily MSW processing capacity of its WTE plant by 1,200 tonnes
  • Obtained HK$465 million convertible loan from IFC
  • Entered into an agreement in relation to the acquisition of 100% equity interest of Xingyi project in Guizhou. The WTE project has a daily MSW processing capacity of 1,050 (700+350) tonnes
  • Awarded the BOT concession right in relation to the Beiliu project
  • Zhanjiang completed construction and commenced operation
  • Issued new shares to BOCI

2015

  • Eco-Tech obtained approval to expand the daily MSW processing capacity of its 1,800 tonnes WTE plant by an additional 1,500 tonnes upon the completion of the technological upgrade
  • Acquired 45% equity interests in Zhanjiang Yuefeng
  • Acquired Laibin Zhongke in Guangxi. Daily MSW processing capacity of 1,000+500 tonnes after technological upgrade
  • Acquired 100% equity interest in Qingyuan

2014

  • After years of organic growth, our Group acquired China Scivest, which has an installed MSW processing capacity of 1,800 tonnes per day and an installed power generation capacity of 42MW
  • Our Eco-Tech WTE Plant commenced the Technological Upgrade, and is scheduled to re-commence trial operation after the completion of its Technological Upgrade in the third quarter of 2015
  • Work on our Zhanjiang Project commenced pursuant to the EPC Contract
  • China Scivest re-commenced commercial operation after the Technological Upgrade
  • China Scivest obtained the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate

2013

  • Our Group, together with High Point, was awarded the bid for Zhanjiang Project and entered into the BOT bidding contract for Zhanjiang Project with Zhanjiang Development and Reform Bureau (“Zhanjiang DRB")
  • Zhanjiang Yuefeng, the third principal subsidiary of our Group, was established
  • Zhanjiang Yuefeng entered into the Zhanjiang Concession Agreement with Zhanjiang DRB
  • Kewei obtained the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate

2012

  • Kewei WTE Plant commenced commercial operation, with installed MSW processing capacity of 1,800 tonnes per day and installed power generation capacity of 30MW

2011

  • Kewei commenced trial operation in January 2011 and started generating revenues from power generation and waste treatment

2010

  • The construction of our Kewei WTE Plant commenced with the approval from Guangdong DRC
  • Kewei obtained a Commendation of Key Construction (重點建設項目獎狀) by the Dongguan Municipal People’s Government

2009

  • Kewei, the second principal subsidiary of our Group, was established

2007

  • Eco-Tech WTE Plant commenced commercial operation, with installed MSW processing capacity of 1,200 tonnes per day and installed power generation capacity of 36MW

2004

  • The construction of our Eco-Tech WTE Plant commenced with the approval by Guangdong DRC
